DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS!!
Unfortunately, I had left my phone on my dashboard when I went to the Doctors, and it got hot and shutdown. When I restarted my phone after cooling it down, my camera and flashlight both worked properly again. I’m assuming that by keeping the phone shut down for an extended period of time (as that was the only thing that I had changed) is forced a reset on the phone. I did not lose any data and did not have to factory reset my phone (thankfully!)
Maybe just shutting it down for an hour (or so) will help??
