In the Consumers Electronics Show, Asus has unveiled a new camera phone, which has 3X optical zoom- the Asus Zenfone Zoom. With the specs similar to Asus Zenfone 2 (which was also announced at the same event), this phone is pretty sleek, unlike other camera phones by rivals.

With the given dimension (mostly its 11.95 mm thickness), the Asus Zenfone Zoom is the slimmest camera phone which has 3X optical Zoom yet, that too with pretty high-end specs like Intel’s 64-bit processor. There is also a full manual mode which allows “professional-grade manual control of ISO settings, shutter speed and more.”The handset will be available in Meteorite black and Glacier white color options, unlike the Zenfone 2 which will be available in five colors. The Asus Zenfone is priced $399 without taxes, which is competitive for a high-end smartphone with a camera that good, but don’t expect it anytime soon, as it is set to be available in the market only from Q2 2015.
