- Go to System Settings>> Accounts>> Google>> Remove your Gmail account
- Now from Settings>> Apps>> All> Force stop, Clear data and cache for Google Play Store and Uninstall Updates
- Again, Settings>> Apps>> All> Force stop, Clear data and cache Google Service Framework and Download Manager
- Now again go to settings>> Accounts>> Google>> Add your Gmail account
- Restart your android and then accept all the Google terms and setup Google settings
- Rerun Google Play Store and update or install your app

i also had error 498 – which says to to follow the same steps – it wont work!!!

This broke my phone and now when I open the Google Play Store it acts as if I have no connection with the infamous ‘no connection’ error, do not use this tutorial unless you are willing to permanently break the store (only fix is a complete factory reset or reinstallation of OS).
I am also getting the error 923 whenever I tried to download apps in the App Store. I already reset my phone but same thing happened. I am also connected to the internet and it will say no connection. What seems to be the problem?
Unfortunately I did not read your post before I tried this “fix”. I now have the same problem – Google Play Store is now GONE, and doesn’t work! Author of this Android Fix “Shrawan”: Maybe you should look for another job!
