This error occurs when you try to install or update the applications in your device. The error says “App could not be downloaded due to an Error 906”. Don’t worry, this is a common error and mostly it automatically resolves in second try. Go to Settings >> Go to Apps >> Select, All the apps
Scroll down and select the app that was giving you the error during update
Select “Move to phone“
Open Google Play Store and update the app
After successful installation, you can move the app back to SD card
There are possibility that the updated Google Play Store is causing the error. There are chances that the updated Version of Google play store may have Compatibility Issues. So in this case, you need to Uninstall Google Play Store updates. Just follow the step to Uninstall Google Play Store update.
For some users, just clearing the cache and data has fix the error 906. While many have unmount the SD card as well and others had to Uninstall Google Play Store updates.
