You need to sign in to your Google Account”. It was so frustrating. When I was searching about this error, I found the error is one of the common Errors in Google Play Store and I am not the only one to get this error. There are many users who are going through the same issue like me. So, I decided to share some of the methods to Fix “Authentication is required” Error in Google Play Store. I was able to solve the issue after trying couple of the methods.
There is not any specific cause of this Error. Although many of the time Errors might be due to Google Play Store updates, Google Play store cache issues, Google Play Store stored data issues, or Google account issues.
Note: Don’t conclude that you are unable to fix this error just by trying one method. I recommend you to try every method unless you don’t fix the issue. Also, different method have worked for different people.

This will return Google Play Store app to its original version that you get when you buy brand new Android Phone.
This is the last method to get rid of the issue. Resetting your phone will erase all the data and information, downloaded app and all such things but you can back up your data and information, app and other thing before resetting the phone.
Your phone system will be as if you have just brought it because all the setting and stuff like that you need to set again and it will surely fix the error of your device.
