Music maniac is a free music downloader app for android that gives you access to a huge database of mp3 songs and you will find almost all songs licensed under creative commons. You can search songs by title or by artist and then begin your download. The download progress can be seen in the app or the notification bar of your Android.
The downloaded songs will have all the necessary tags such as song and artist title, album title and date. The downloaded songs will be in the “Musicmaniac” folder in your Micro SD card.
Music maniac app doesn’t maintain its own database rather it has search results from a collection of databases. This means you will also find songs that are not under creative commons so it’s up to you weather you want to download such songs or not.
This is one of the stable song downloaders (this is not true anymore though, as this app has been removed from the play store. See our ‘update’ on the bottom of this article to know more about this) I have found on the Google Play Store. Older versions of Music maniac had a problems of downloads cancelling abruptly. The latest update seems to have solved this issue.
Music Maniac app is unfortunately no longer available on the google play store. But you can still download apk files (apps outside of google play store) direct from here.

I have found similar Music Maniac apps from play store, its in similar in features and works great. Download it from google play store here…
The best alternative app for you to the music maniac would be Music Lab MP3, from where you can listen or download and save the MP3 songs online. This app even has a larger data base of songs.
