Chinese man hires hitman to hunt down his son “online” (ahem..)

A man in China reportedly hired online hitman to hunt down his son’s avatar on an online role playing game. The man’s son had been addicted to the game for long so much that he was unable to keep a job for long and is currently unemployed. The son later on found out about his father’s deeds and told him that the game was not affecting his employment status, it was just that he was waiting for the right job.  Wonder if there is any correlation between online gaming and unemployment leaving out countries  where gaming is a profession.

Well this news sounds a little fishy and raises questions like how the heck did the father find awesome online players who could be anywhere in China? I mean China is not a tiny island in my map and there are millions of gamers spread all over.

Having said all that, doesn’t Virtual hitman  sound like a pretty cool next gen profession?  Killing for a good cause.
